With SQL Server 2000 database, Global Keyaccess parking and revenue control system could have functions such as plate recognization(picture comparision on screen by human only, not automatical recognization), visiting card charge, monthly card charge, per entry charge, pre-paid card charge, VIP card etc. Normally, at the entrance, the visiting car driver will be issued a proximity card or bar code ticket, and this card or ticket will be hand back to the operator at the exit when the cars are ready to leave, with proximity reader/Mifare 1 reader or bar code scanner, the parking control software will calculate the amount of charge during parking, when correct money is collected, the operator could press button of payment collected and then the gate will rise so as to let the car leave. for pre-paid card holders, the gate will rise at the entrance and exit automatically when they present the card over the reade or scanner and by this means the card holders have the conveniences and efficiencies to pass by in quick time. To adapt to the trend of convenient control principle, more and more customers are requiring parking control system to be integrated with long range RFID reader which could identify the cars at 3 meters(10 foot), 5 meters(16 foot), 10 meters(32 foot) or even longer, Global Keyaccess mainly provides 1 meter/3 foot RFID passive reader and tag(at 125KHz), 3 meters to 10 meters/10 foot to 32 foot RFID passive readers and tags(ISO18000-6B or EPC Global Gen 2). the long distance RFID readers and tags offer great conveniences for those high speed vehicle flow applications. The RFID tags could be attached on the plate or window without anti-sunshine film(anti-sunshine film could dramatically reduce the reading distance).
